国内外のSEP関係者から、日本初のSEP差止め判決である Pantech v. Google 判決（2025年6月23日言渡）は閲覧できないのか」との質問を多くいただいています。このため、第三者による閲覧がいつ可能になるのかについて、東京地方裁判所民事第40部（ビジネスコート・中目黒庁舎）に問い合わせを行いました。 事件番号 令和5年(ワ）第70501号
以下のとおり、裁判所からの回答を共有いたします。
本判決については、Google側から閲覧等の制限申立てがなされています。
この事案では「書面全体の閲覧等制限」ではなく「書面の一部に対する閲覧等制限」が
問題となるが、Googleから「どの部分を制限するのか」という具体的な申立てが行われておらず、裁判所としては閲覧を許可したくとも、それができない状況が続いています。
したがって、現時点では「いつから閲覧可能になるか」について裁判所として回答することができない、とのことです。
なお、Pantech側からは、第三者による閲覧について異議の申立てはされていません。

Many domestic and international SEP professionals have asked whether it is possible to view the Pantech v. Google judgment, delivered on June 23, 2025 — Japan’s first SEP injunction ruling.
In response, we contacted the 40th Civil Division of the Tokyo District Court (Business Court, Nakameguro branch) to inquire about the availability of this judgment for third-party viewing.
Below is a summary of the court’s response:
Google has submitted a request to restrict access to the judgment.
While a “complete restriction on access to the entire document” is not permitted in this case, a “partial restriction” is allowed.
However, Google has not yet specified which parts of the document it seeks to restrict.
As a result, although the court would like to allow access, it is currently unable to do so.
Therefore, the court cannot provide a definitive answer as to when the judgment will become available for third-party viewing.
Notably, Pantech has not objected to third-party access.
